Maharashtra has got a great tradition of great sadhus and saints. Samarth Ramdas Swamy, a saint of this tradition, has a great legacy. The biography of Samarth Ramdas Swami, who wrote great books like Manache Shlok and Dasbodh for the common people, as well as Sukhkarta Dukhaharta, the aarti of daily worship, will be seen on the silver screen for the first time. The glory of Samarth will be revealed to the world through the upcoming film ‘Raghuveer’. The release date of the film has been announced by releasing a new poster. ‘Raghuveer’ will release everywhere on 23rd August.
‘Raghuveer’ is produced by Samarth Creations in association with Dynamic Productions and Adityam Creations. Abhinav Vikas Pathak is the producer of this movie and Vaibhav Kishore Mankar, Sapna Kiran Badgujar and Dr. Kiran Chhagan Badgujar is the co-producer. Khushi Advertising Ideas Pvt. Ltd. is the marketing partner of the film and the film will be released across Maharashtra through film distribution group Cinepolis. Directed by Nilesh Kunjir, ‘Raghuveer’ has been in the news ever since its announcement. After it was revealed that actor Vikram Gaikwad will be seen in the role of Samarth, the curiosity about ‘Raghuveer’ increased further. It can be seen on the recently revealed poster that ‘Raghuveer’ will be released everywhere on 23rd August chanting the mantra of ‘Jai Jai Raghuveer Samarth’. Director Nilesh Kunjir said that bringing the life journey of Samarth Ramdas Swamy on the silver screen is a very big challenge. Ramdas Swami will be presented on screen with great culmination by studying historical documents along with historical literature. Unlike other films, this work is not done immediately, and a quality work of art is placed in front of the audience after completing all the work with proper time. Importantly, Nilesh Kunjir also expressed the feeling that the main character in this movie will look like a common man instead of acting as a hero and that will show the unusual saint Samarth Ramdas Swami.
The screenplay of the film is written by Nilesh Kunjir and Abhiram Bhadkamkar. Abhiram Bhadkamkar has handled the dialogue writing responsibility and Sachin Suhas Bhave is the executive producer. Along with Vikram, Rituja Deshmukh, Naveen Prabhakar, Shailesh Datar, Rahul Mehendale, Vignesh Joshi, Ninad Kulkarni, Bhushan Telang, Varsha Dandale, Mausumi Tondwalkar, Anushree Phadnis, Dev Nikharge, Ganesh Mane will also be seen in various roles. DOP Dhanraj Sukhdev Wagh and Prathamesh Nitin Rangole have done the cinematography and Jageshwar Dhoble and Prashant Chandrakant Kamble have done the editing.
