Bhushan Patil’s Kadhipatta to Bring a Unique Love Story to Maharashtra Theatres on November 7

Over the years, many love stories have cast their magic on audiences. That’s why filmmakers often present romances set against diverse backdrops. The upcoming Marathi film Kadhipatta will also offer viewers a unique love story. Tagged as “A Bittersweet Love Story,” the film’s title itself stirs curiosity. Through this film, a new producer-director duo is bringing a youthful romance to audiences. Kadhipatta will release across Maharashtra on November 7.

Presented by Yuvan Productions, the film is produced by Swapnil Yuvraj Marathe, with story and direction by Vishwaa. For both Swapnil and Vishwaa, this is their debut film and with their very first attempt, they have brought a musical love story to the big screen. Motion poster of the film has been released. Motion poster shows the hero and heroine sitting in a scenic setting. Bhushan Patil is in the lead role in the film, but the heroine is sitting in the background. The dialogues spoken by the heroine sitting in the background are very poignant. While Bhushan Patil plays the lead role, the identity of his on-screen love interest remains a secret for now, heightening anticipation. The heroine’s face will be revealed soon.

Speaking about the film, director Vishwaa said, “This film truly offers audiences an unusual love story. It captures today’s youth — their opinions, thoughts, emotions, relationships, responsibilities and the world of feelings they live in. With soulful music, we’ve presented Kadhipatta as a high-quality production with great values. Though many love stories have been told before, the themes and aspects in this one have never been explored. Its treatment is also quite different, ensuring audiences feel they have watched a film off the beaten track.”

Producer Swapnil Marathe added, “Though this is our first venture as producers, we’re satisfied that our debut itself is a meaningful, music-rich creation.”

The cast also includes Akshay Tanksale, Sanjay Mone, Shubhangi Gokhale, Gargi Phule, Ananda Karekar, and Gauri Sukhtankar with Anand Ingale and Chetna Bhatt in special appearances. The cinematography is by Aniket Khandagale and Cinepolis will handle the film’s distribution. The project head is Samyukta Subhash, with Vishal Chawwan as executive producer. Lyrics are penned by Manndar Cholkar, Mukund Bhalerao and Vinu Sangwan, with music composed by Padmanabh Gaikwad and Ashish Khandel. The songs are sung by Rohit Raut, Padmanabh Gaikwad, Ananya Wadkar, Saaj Bhatt, and Priyanshi Srivastava. The background score is by Tanmay Bhide and editing by Rishiraj Joshi. Pallavi Patil and Gargi Patil have designed the costumes, while Kiran Sawant has done the makeup.
