“Kadhipatta” Movie Trailer Released – Set to Hit Theatres Across Maharashtra on November 7
The much-talked-about Marathi film ‘Kadhipatta’ is making headlines as popular South Indian actress Riddhi Kumar makes her Marathi film debut. Starring opposite Marathi actor Bhushan Patil, the pair promises to bring a striking on-screen chemistry that is already creating buzz. Since the release of its teaser, ‘Kadhipatta’ has been steadily building curiosity among audiences. Now, with its grand trailer release, excitement for the film has reached new heights. The aroma of ‘Kadhipatta’ is all set to spread across Maharashtra on November 7.
Presented by Yuvan Productions, ‘Kadhipatta’ is produced by Swapnil Yuvraj Marathe and written-directed by Vishwaa. The film, which opened its teaser with a traditional Maharashtrian “ukhana”, intrigued audiences with its unique cultural touch. The recently released trailer has added even more anticipation.
The trailer begins with a husband-wife argument scene — a “tu-tu main-main” moment that feels real and relatable. As the couple hurls accusations at each other in court, the judge, almost pitying them, reminds them, “But yours is a love marriage, right?” This triggers a flashback sequence that traces their journey from love to misunderstanding. Filled with ego clashes, witty exchanges, miscommunication, and escalating conflicts, their story leads to the brink of divorce.
The trailer raises several questions — Will the heroine’s recklessness and the hero’s carelessness be proven in court? Will they part ways for good, or will an emotional moment bring them back together? The audience will find the answers to these questions when they watch ‘Kadhipatta’.
Just like its title suggests, the film’s story has the perfect “tadka” of ‘Kadhipatta’. Accompanied by the soulful and meaningful song “Swapnatuni ajuni asha, tujhya paulanchya khuna…”, the film is rightly described by its subtitle — “A Bittersweet Love Story.”

The chemistry between Bhushan Patil and Riddhi Kumar is expected to captivate viewers. The cast also includes Sanjay Mone, Shubhangi Gokhale, Akshay Tanksale, Gargi Phule, Gauri Sukhatankar, Sanika Kashikar, and Nisha Mane. Guest appearances are by Anand Ingale, Ananda Karekar and Chetna Bhatt.
