Thrilling Trailer of ‘Nirdhar’ Released To Hit Screens Across Maharashtra on 28th November
History itself stands witness that the youth have always created history. Every generation of young people possesses the power to bring about a revolution in any field of society. All that is needed is their unity. The upcoming Marathi film ‘Nirdhar’ brings to the audience the story of the struggles of such powerful and change-making youth. After the melodious song ‘Vande Mataram…’, the trailer of the movie has now been released. The film is set to release across Maharashtra on 28th November.

Producer Padmaja Walawalkar has produced ‘Nirdhar’ under the banner of Jaylakshmi Creation. Director Dilip Bhopale has successfully brought to life the story written by Dinanath Walawalkar. The trailer begins by introducing the film as a tale of struggle. Scenes of people running with flaming torches and a burning settlement appear on screen. The movie focuses on the fight against corruption. The flame of revolution ignited through unity will be witnessed in this film. Amid the burning houses, a heart-piercing scream of “Someone please save us!” is heard. This is followed by glimpses of the song ‘Vande Mataram…’. Is there truly a solution to corruption? Most would say no. Then how can it be eradicated? The writers attempt to answer this through the film. The trailer effectively builds curiosity and promises a powerful narrative. The end of the trailer conveys that this inspiring tale of struggle will arrive on 28th November.
Speaking about the trailer, director Dilip Bhopale said that the film is not just for entertainment but also carries a strong message for society. As cinema is an influential medium to reach people, ‘Nirdhar’ aims to present the story of the youth through the youth themselves. The movie touches upon several social and political issues. The mindset, ideology, and perspective of the young generation will be portrayed through this film. Producer Padmaja Walawalkar shared that ‘Nirdhar’ was created with the feeling that while living in society and working for it, we too owe something to society.
‘Nirdhar’ features performances by Dr. Girish Oak, Saurabh Gogate, Pallavi Patwardhan, Pragya Kelkar, Milind Uke, Umesh Bolke, Abhinav Kurne, Janhvi Sawant, Rutuja Kanojia, Abhay Patil, Shreyas Mohite, Dinanath Walawalkar, Yuvraj Zhugar, Ketaki Patil, Pallavi Prasad, Anand Patil, Surendra Ketkar, Vidya Dange, N.D. Chougule, Komal Randive, and others. The responsibility of distributing the film across Maharashtra has been taken up by Pickle Entertainment. The cinematography is done by Atul Supare, while Vicky Bidkar has handled the art direction. Makeup is by Atul Shidhaye, and costumes by Prashant Parker. Kailas Bhalerao is the production manager, and Ajay Khade is the line producer. Choreography is by Sangram Bhalakar, and Atharva Walawalkar is the creative producer. Rahul Patil is the associate director, with Santosh Jadhav as the chief assistant director.
