A Thrilling Blend of Mystery, Spirituality and Action ‘Devghar On Rent’ Trailer Launch Event Held in Mumbai
Bringing together spirituality, mystery, suspense and action in a unique blend, the upcoming Marathi film ‘Devghar On Rent’ is currently generating curiosity among audiences. Along with mystery and thrills, the film will also explore an emotional layer, while the mystery hidden behind the two words—‘Devghar’ and ‘Rent’—has sparked intrigue. The trailer launch event of ‘Devghar On Rent’ was recently held in Mumbai. The trailer offers a thrilling glimpse into the film’s intriguing storyline. ‘Devghar On Rent’ is all set to release on September 25, 2026, across Maharashtra, as well as in Belgaon, Hyderabad, Indore and Baroda.
Presented by Anandi Pictures Amravati and produced by Radhakrushna Production, ‘Devghar On Rent’ is produced by Sachin Rode Patil and Poonam Chaudhary Patil. The film is directed by Swaroop Sawant. The concept has been developed by Poonam Chaudhary Patil, while the story, screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Sanjay Navgire.
From the very beginning, the trailer establishes the film’s mysterious atmosphere. Meaningful dialogues further heighten curiosity. With a police investigation, suspicious incidents, conflicts and tension between the characters, the narrative becomes increasingly gripping. The trailer offers glimpses of events unfolding around a police officer, the criminal underworld and a mysterious ‘Devghar’ (shrine). Action has been given special prominence, with glimpses of chases, hand-to-hand combat and intense confrontations.
At the same time, the mysterious atmosphere surrounding the Devghar, spiritual references and inexplicable incidents suggest that the film is not merely an action entertainer, but one that takes audiences into an intriguing world of mystery. The dramatic storyline is complemented by impactful action sequences, while the South Indian style of action has been incorporated to give the film a larger-than-life scale.
The film features Nikhil Chavan, Ankit Mohan, Bhau Kadam, Shashank Shende, Ashwini Chavare, Vaibhav Chavan, Suresh Vishwakarma, Anil Nagarkar, Siddheshwar Zadbuke and Gautami Patil in pivotal roles. South Indian actors Garuda Ram of KGF fame and Shravan Raghavendra will also be seen in significant roles.
Music composers S. Sagar and Kabir Shakya have given a melodious touch to the film’s meaningful songs, while the choreography has been handled by Kishor Dalvi. Cinematography is by DOP Chaitanya Salunke, with background music composed by Rohit Nagbhide. The action sequences have been choreographed by Rakesh Patil and Kartik Dangari. Dilip Kandhare has handled the art direction.
The costumes have been designed by Apeksha Gandhi Soni, while makeup has been handled by Sujit Survase. Anuneha Ghodke is the Executive Producer and Yash Sanas is the Production Manager. Akshay Londe has handled sync sound, Sharma’s team has looked after the lighting, and Vijay Mhaske has served as the Production Head.
