The shooting of the upcoming Marathi film ‘Ashtapadi’ has started recently. The movie ‘Ashtapadi’ was Muhurt on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya. Since then, the unique title has fueled curiosity about the film. The audience was curious about what exactly they will see in the film and which actors will appear in it. The things that have been in the bouquet till now are slowly coming out.
Producers Utkarsh Jain and Mahendra Patil are producing the movie ‘Ashtapadi’ under the banner of Mahashree Productions and Yuvraj Cine Creations. Utkarsh Jain is the director of this movie. The entire team of this film is currently staying in Kolhapur after the recording of Shree Ganesh Geeta marked ‘Ashtapadi’. Before starting the shooting in Kolhapur, a muhurat was held in the presence of MP Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj, veteran art director Santosh Phutane. On this occasion, MP Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj gave muhurt clap and wished the team of the film all the best for the future. A significant portion of the film will be shot in and around Kolhapur. Regarding the ongoing shooting in Kolhapur, director Utkarsh Jain said that it is a distinct joy to be shooting ‘Ashtapadi’ in the city of Kolhapur, blessed by the residence of Goddess Mahalakshmi. Utkarsh Jain also assured that the entire team of the film is preparing with new energy and strength and will bring the story which has never been seen on the silver screen to the audience.
Santosh Juvekar will be seen in the lead role in ‘Ashtapadi’. Mayuri Kapdane, Abhinav Patekar, Milind Phatak, Mona Kamat, Swapneel Rajashekhar, Milind Dastane, Vishal Arjun, Vinita Kale, Chanda Sarsekar, Kalpana Rane, Nayana Bidve etc. in important roles in this film. Mahendra Patil, who is the creative director of ‘Ashtapadi’, has written the story, screenplay and dialogues of this film with versatile performance. The film has music and background score by composer Milind More. Cinematography will be done by DOP Dhanraj Wagh and art direction by Nilesh Rasal. Rahul Patil and Nandu Achrekar is the Chief associate director. Ajay Khade is the executive producer. Atul Shidhaye is doing makeup and Anjali Khobrekar is the costume designer.
