A film depicting the glory of Shri Mahavatar Babaji to release on September 19, 2025

The upcoming Hindi film “Fakireeyat” stands out with its unique attributes. Based on the spiritual journey of Guru Maa Rudratmika, the film brings forth the essence of spirituality, Guru devotion, Kriya Yoga, and faith. The audience will witness the presence of Mahavatar Babaji, Shri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Shri Swami Samarth, Shri Shankar Maharaj, Baba Shri Kalbhairav, Baba Shri Bhadrabahu, Haidakhan Baba and Maa Kali along with Guru Maa Rudratmika’s struggles in carrying out her Guru’s mission. In 2024, Guru Maa received the divine command to make this film. Despite having no prior experience in filmmaking, she courageously undertook the task, overcoming immense challenges with the cooperation of her disciples and successfully completed “Fakireeyat”. The film will be released all over India on September 19, 2025.

The grand trailer and music launch event of “Fakireeyat” was recently held at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. Renowned singer Anuradha Paudwal and actress-producer Medha Manjrekar graced the occasion as chief guests. Alongside them, the film’s cast, crew, and many other dignitaries from the film industry marked their presence.

Produced under the banner of Bhadrabahu Divine Creations LLP, the film is directed by Santosh Manjrekar, making his directorial debut in Hindi cinema. The story is based on books written by Anuja Janvalekar – “Chirut Jalti Hai” and “Adhyatma : Ek Vidroh, Ek Kranti”. The screenplay has been written by Anil Pawar, with dialogues co-written by Pawar and Janvalekar.

The trailer of “Fakireeyat” is gripping, indicating that the film conveys something beyond mainstream narratives, focused on the welfare of humanity. It emphasizes that Kriya Yoga is a divine blessing and a mantra for sound health. Kriya Yoga, a chain of Mudra Yoga and Pranayama, is explained at the beginning of the trailer. Actress Deepa Parab, portraying Guru Mata, is seen spreading awareness about Kriya Yoga and Pranayama. The film also highlights the greatness of the Guru tradition. The trailer reflects the union of divine blessings and karma. Shot in scenic, serene natural locations, the visuals are captivating. Deepa Parab, dressed in saffron robes with a serene aura, authentically embodies Babaji’s disciple, spreading his teachings across. The film beautifully blends saintly philosophies with soulful music, depicting the true meaning of life through various episodes.

Through this creation, Guru Maa Rudratmika conveys that Babaji and the great saints depicted in the film are so powerful that without their will, nothing can be done in their name. The command to make this film came from them, making the entire project possible. Dialogues in the film also reflect the teachings of Baba Bhadrabahu and Babaji. The title “Fakireeyat” too was chosen on divine instruction. The saints and sages portrayed are beyond caste, religion, deity, or country. While people mistake language and attire as religion, Fakireeyat represents an attitude—an essence of knowledge, greatness, and renunciation. Despite their boundless wisdom and divine powers, these great souls remain detached from worldly desires. That detachment itself is “Fakireeyat”—the spirit of sacrifice and greatness. The film has also been shot at Kashi Manikarnika and in Uttarakhand. Shooting during the Kumbh Mela at Manikarnika was challenging, yet made possible by Babaji’s blessings. Further, scenes were filmed at unexplored locations in Uttarakhand where no prior shoots had taken place.

The cast of “Fakireeyat” includes Uday Tikekar, Sandesh Jadhav, Vineet Sharma, Akshay Vartak, Nayan Jadhav, Anisha Sabnis, among others, with actor Santosh Juvekar in a guest appearance. Music for the film has been composed by Pravin Kuwar with lyrics by Samruddhi Pawar, sung by Manish Rajgire, Manoj Mishra, Jasraj Joshi, and Neha Rajpal. Editing is by Nilesh Gawand, and cinematography by Ajith Reddy.
