Announcement of the Marathi Film ‘Natmastak’ through Poster Launch
The Marathi film industry, known for its tradition of experimenting with new and thought-provoking subjects, is all set to welcome another socially relevant film — ‘Natmastak’. Marathi cinema has always found a place in the hearts of audiences for films that reflect society’s true face, and ‘Natmastak’ is the next step in that meaningful journey. The newly unveiled poster has successfully piqued curiosity about what the film will offer.
Produced by Ramesh Vamanrao Shinde under the banner of R.S. Golden Group Movie Makers, ‘Natmastak’ marks his debut as a film producer. A successful entrepreneur from Pune and an active social worker, Ramesh Shinde has ventured into film production to convey a powerful message through cinema. The film is directed by Mahesh Ravsaheb Kale, a filmmaker who has made short films and movies that have earned recognition at both national and international levels.
Director Mahesh Kale previously won a National Award for his short film ‘Rupaya’, and his feature film ‘Ghuma’ received a Maharashtra State Government Award. After the critically acclaimed and intense Marathi film ‘Tarri’ starring Lalit Prabhakar, Mahesh Kale returns with ‘Natmastak’ — a film that promises a unique and impactful story.
The first poster launch officially announced the arrival of ‘Natmastak’. The poster features a striking image of a drought-stricken landscape — a cracked, parched field with a burning fire inside a well. A young woman is seen walking toward the well, while a cow stands nearby. The imagery reflects the grim reality of rural Maharashtra and serves as a powerful visual metaphor. The film is slated for release across Maharashtra next year.
Speaking about the film, director Mahesh Kale shared that the poster truly captures the essence of the film’s message. “The image shown in the poster is not fictional — it’s a portrayal of a harsh reality,” he said. While the storyline remains under wraps for now, Kale confirmed that details about the plot and cast will be revealed soon. He emphasized that ‘Natmastak’ is not just an entertaining film, but also one with a strong social message aimed at inspiring change. He also expressed gratitude to producer Ramesh Shinde, whose belief in the story made the film possible.
‘Natmastak’ is rooted in social themes. As a committed social worker, Ramesh Shinde was deeply moved by the film’s subject and message, which inspired him to take on the role of producer. His contributions extend beyond cinema — he actively supports women empowerment, youth entrepreneurship, cattle welfare, orphan care, and educational initiatives. While thriving in business, his experiences and awareness of society’s challenges have motivated him to ‘Natmastak’ before social responsibility, transforming that sentiment into the essence of this upcoming film.
