Raja Kumari sets Kochi ablaze with high-energy performances of City Slums, Made in India, Jawan, Born to Win, Revolver and more at her landmark Kerala debut.

Global hip-hop sensation Raja Kumari made a powerful Kerala debut as the headliner for the “OCHA × Spotify Rap 91” night at the Ocha Music Festival on December 6, 2025. Held at The Grounds, Chakkolas Mill, Kalamassery, Kochi, the festival brought together some of India’s finest rap talent, with Raja Kumari’s presence adding a distinctive global energy that elevated the night and connected instantly with the crowd.

From the moment she arrived at the festival grounds, it was evident that this was more than just another concert—it was a cultural exchange in motion. Known for seamlessly blending her Indian classical roots with global hip-hop, Raja Kumari spoke with deep emotion after her performance. _“I’ve always had immense respect and fascination for Kerala, its arts, and its culture. I’ve visited Ayurvedic retreats here, but never truly had the opportunity to connect with the people. Performing at OCHA Festival for the first time, it was incredible to hear the Malayalam rappers who opened the show—I’m happy to know the future of hip-hop is in safe hands. The crowd was warm, loud, and electric. I can’t wait to perform in Kerala again and again.”_

Her words reflected more than gratitude—they revealed a deeper connection, celebrating heritage, acknowledging Kerala’s growing hip-hop movement, and reinforcing her belief that music transcends language and borders. That spirit echoed through her electrifying set, which showcased her signature blend of global and rooted artistry. The crowd burst into cheers as she performed City Slums, the triple-platinum anthem that first introduced her to Indian audiences, followed by powerful renditions of Made in India, a tribute to identity and pride, and Born to Win, her unmistakable victory anthem.

The crowd erupted when she launched into Revolver from The Ba****ds of Bollywood*, and the energy shot even higher with her explosive take on the Jawan Title Track, the viral hit that pushed her deeper into the Indian mainstream. Matching the larger-than-life moment, Raja Kumari rocked a custom Kalki × Kumari look from her own collaborative collection with Kalki, a gun-metal silver ensemble with diamond accents that perfectly blended fierce stage power with South Asian luxe.

Raja Kumari’s presence at Ocha Festival became more than just a performance, it served as a cultural bridge, connecting her global artistic influence with Kerala’s fast-growing hip-hop scene. The evening stood as a testament to the evolution of Indian rap: diverse, dynamic, and increasingly poised for global recognition.
