‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’ to Expose the Captain Bhondu Baba Upcoming Marathi Film Announced Through Motion Poster Launch…

Incidents taking place in society often leave a strong impact on the silver screen, and films frequently bring hidden truths to light. Over the years, many realistic films based on true events and controversial cases have been made, exposing shocking realities and even questioning the functioning of authorities and systems. The recently announced Marathi film Maharashtra Epstein Files is also set to uncover one such sensational case that had shaken the entire state of Maharashtra. The announcement of the film was made through the release of an intriguing motion poster. It has also been officially declared that the film will release across Maharashtra on October 2, 2026.

The motion poster of the upcoming Marathi film Maharashtra Epstein Files was unveiled on social media. Presented by Jain Film Production and Matoshree Entertainment World, the film is being produced by Devendra Bhat, Suryakant Bhunde, and Prashant Kadampure. Director Swaroop B. Sawant has taken a bold and challenging step through this realistic subject-based film.

The tagline, “Now everything will be exposed…!” itself hints that the film is set to reveal shocking truths and expose several people. Exactly what the film uncovers will only be known after its release. The film is expected to unmask many individuals who have been hiding behind respectable public images. The story revolves around a “Captain Bhondu Baba.” The poster features a mysterious man standing with his back facing the viewer, holding bundles of ₹500 notes behind him. He is dressed in a kurta-pyjama and jacket, resembling a respectable gentleman. Yellow crime-scene tapes surround him. On the wall in front of him are several photographs marked with question marks. One photo has “Nashik” written on it, while another mentions “Bhondu Baba.” On the table nearby, there is a copper water jug and vessel on one side, while books, a cup of tea, and “Elish Honey” are placed on the other. Looking at these visuals, sharp Marathi audiences can easily guess which “Captain Fraud Baba” and whose “Epstein Files” the film intends to expose.

For now, the story of Maharashtra Epstein Files remains under wraps, and the names of the cast have also been kept confidential. The shooting of the film is expected to begin soon. The story has been written by Sagarkumar S. Jain, while the screenplay and dialogues are by Sanjay Navgire. Akash Kakade will handle cinematography as the Director of Photography, and Akshay Ambekar is responsible for the art direction. The costumes are designed by Akanksha Gandhi. Sachin Ghanwant serves as the Production Head, while Neha Ghodke is working as the Production Controller.
