The upcoming film ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’ has been making headlines ever since its announcement. After the first poster sparked curiosity among audiences, the makers unveiled actress Deepali Sayed’s look from the film. The film subsequently created a huge buzz on social media. Since ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’ is set to reflect incidents taking place in society, it has generated considerable curiosity among netizens. Now, the newly released teaser has taken the excitement to another level. The film is slated to release across Maharashtra on October 2, 2026.
Presented by Anandi Pictures Amravati and Sachin Rode Patil, the Marathi film ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’ has been produced under the banners of Flamingo Creation and Matoshree Entertainment. Devendra Bhat, Suryakant Bhunde and Prashant Kadampure are the producers. Director Swaroopp Sawant takes a direct aim at blind faith and fraudulent practices prevalent in society through the film.
The teaser opens with a white Toyota Innova Crysta arriving and stopping in front of a luxurious bungalow. On one side, a woman possessed by what appears to be supernatural forces is seen spinning in a trance, while on the other, actress Deepali Sayed makes her entry. The assistant of the self-styled godman she has come to meet, played by Akshay Tanksale, informs him that someone has arrived from Amravati with a bag full of money. Deepali then cuts the ring finger of her right hand and performs a blood ritual. The teaser then shifts directly to the Sahakarnagar Police Station in Nashik, where a young man is seen narrating to the police the fraudulent activities of a godman who claims to possess divine powers. These glimpses offer a clear indication of what audiences can expect from ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’.
The teaser suggests that the film will not merely expose the facade of a fraudulent godman, but will also unmask several people hiding behind their own facades. Speaking about the teaser, Director Swaroopp Sawant said, “The teaser that has been presented to the audience is, in the truest sense, an introduction to the film. At the same time, it also makes one think. Even before its release, the film has been subjected to various allegations and attempts are being made to create obstacles. However, before opposing the film, I appeal to everyone to watch it first. We are bringing the truth before the world through our film and highlighting incidents taking place in society. At the same time, we have ensured that the film offers complete entertainment to audiences from all sides. The film’s tagline, ‘Now everything will be revealed…!’ will certainly prove to be absolutely true once audiences watch ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’.”
Alongside Deepali Sayed, Uday Tikekar and Akshay Tanksale will be seen in pivotal roles in ‘Maharashtra Epstein Files’. Sagarkumar S. Jain has written the story, while Sanjay Navgire has penned the screenplay and dialogues. Cinematography has been handled by DOP Akash Kakade, while Akshay Ambekar has taken charge of the film’s art direction. Akanksha Gandhi is the costume designer. Neha Ghodke is the Production Controller, and Sachin Ghanwat serves as the Production Head.
