Marathi cinema has a tradition of making films on diverse subjects. Today’s generation of producer-directors and writers working on new concepts with the aim of offering something innovative are creating films that suit the Maratha film culture. One of those directors is Nitin Rokde. His new Marathi film ‘Hukkey’ was recently announced. A glimpse of this can be easily seen in the motion poster of ‘Hukkey’ which was released on this occasion.
The production of ‘Hukkey’ is under the banner of Magic Svann Studios, NMR Movies, Financial Fitness and Jannat Films. Niteen Rokade, Sunanda Kaluskar and Vinayak Pashte are the producers and Sudhir Khot and Rais Khan are the co-producers of ‘Hukkey’. Niteen Rokade has also handled the story, screenplay and direction and he has the support of Sandip Kumar Roy and Madhulita Das for the screenplay. Additional screenplay is by Ninad Pathak. Crows have been used well in the motion poster that has been released. A girl named Preeti can also be seen in the motion poster in the crowd of crows like Suraj, Ram Master, Mahesh. Along with the name, the nature of each has also been told. The motion poster indicates that the strength of unity will be seen on the path of struggle, risk and victory. The displayed motion poster is based on an innovative concept. As the story of ‘Hukkey’ is set in Konkan, the scenic environment and picturesque locations will be seen on the big screen. The plot of ‘Hukkey’ has been written around the characters of different natures and tendencies like Suraj, Preeti, Ramkaka, Mahesh. It is accompanied by hilarious dialogues. Director Niteen Rokade has expressed the opinion that the production of humor will be the biggest advantage of this film. Regarding the motion poster, Niteen Rokade said that the crows in this are symbolic and through this, human nature has been shown. There is no telling what a person will do when ‘Hukkey’ comes. Rokade also said that the funny story of such characters will be seen in this film.
Prathamesh Parab will be seen in the lead role in ‘Hukkey’. Raavi Kishor, Prashant Mohite, Mahesh Patil and other artists are paired with him. The duo Prafful-Swapnil has composed the music for the songs of this film. Cinematography is by Farooque Khan, Choreography by Santosh Ganpat Palvankar, Action by Sansh Kumar. While Harshit Kumar is working as Production Controller.
